RESOURCES | FLORAL ARTISTS DESIGNING INTERIOR LANDSCAPES

The finishing touches to any event space, is like the cherry on the icing. Florals, plants and landscaping, for me are the cherry (I think I secretly wanted to be a floral designer..)

Without these trusted suppliers, my events would not have had the WOW factor that every guest wants to have when they walk into a space or around a sumptuous buffet, I cannot create beautiful spaces without this team behind me.

Paul and the team are florists, designers, horticulturalists, growers, space makers, and builders. We all have one thing in common, we love flowers and we love plants.

We all have one thing in common – we love plants. We love the flowers on plants. We love picking flowers too. We love good design, good style, good spaces, and we are all lucky to work everyday with the things we love. We are a multifaceted team anchored in the botanical world, that’s what we are about at Glasshaus.

Mature trees, living green walls (see pic above), warehouse spaces and a group of people that love what they do… that’s why we love them xx.

Austin Bloom https://austinbloom.com.au/ab-story/ (Adelaide)

Austin Bloom - an outpouring of creativity - is a super charged floral education business owned by husband and wife, Estee and Stu Austin. At their core, Estee and Stu are driven to challenge the flower and design industry, focusing on quality locally grown produce and conceptual design inspired by leading florists and designers all over the world. Flowers are treated as one of many mediums they and the team work with.

Austin Bloom started out as a little pop-up shop, beside a white picket fence in 2012. Both Stu and Estee have extensive design backgrounds, studying glass design, engineering and graphic design - all of which exudes from their work.

In 2014 they opened their first brick and mortar store in the Adelaide Hills. Late 2016, all operations were shifted to Adelaide CBD on Ifould Street in a warehouse space that was once a laboratory. This was turned into a beautiful studio for flowers, retail products and making, and allowed Austin Bloom to operate at a much larger scale.

Colin is not only an artist in his own right, but a landscape architect and designer. Based on the Mornington Peninsula, his property at Baxter is part of the Australian Open Garden scheme and home of the Peninsula’s Long Lunch as part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival. Colin has his own nursery, so if we are starting from scratch and want an abundant, established look created, we call Colin. Sometimes in this industry you need to look further than a florist or a green event hire company…
